    HI FOLKS

Disappeared again for holiday. The good thing is we come back. Desperate for some home news? Probably what we have here is an interest to you.

    1. Teddy Afero's traffic accident file has gone to the prosecutor for the final decision. They say depending the evidences he could be prosecuted or the charge could be dropped. You know what that means by now anyway. He will be found guilty as charged, mark our words. Was he responsible for the unfortunate incident? Oh, don't ask stupid questions as we would not like to give you a stupid answer.

    2. We are also informed that the Addis Abeba court has been hearing the testimony of the witnesses on the CUD leaders criminal matter today. We will have the full report by the soonest. Yet, what has a psychological injury got to do with a criminal matter? Is there any lawyer in there, hellow!

A FOOL LAUGHS AND LAMENTS TWICE

The Economist as their old good Prime Minister is taken over by events. " Events, dear boy events!" , was the lament of Harold Wilson when everything went wrong in Suez Canal crises. So did The Economist this week.

The story goes like this. Westerners have a very low expectation for Africa and Africans that they would hail any new guy if he appears to be a subservient or at least not a vocal opposition to their establishment. That was what happened with Mussivenie and Melese. But when everything goes from bad to worse; they eat their own words of praise as if anything never happened. The Economist condemning Melese the tgrea thug now is like, Mussolini attacking Hitler after 1945.

An empty taxi drew up outside the confines of the African Continent , and the East Africa editor of The Economist got out is an apt scenario to describe the situation.

McCARTHYSIM IN CUD LEARESHIP IN EXILE

Here we go again. One group accuses the Major, of their own chairman, for embezzling the party's bank account. A serious accusation by any standard but hardly of a revolutionary in any event. No one challenges why such unbridled power of putting one's hand in the till is given to anyone in the first place. Once such power is bestowed upon a mortal, the natural result will be showing the accusers themselves the door instead of showing them the money.

The feuding groups are still on a bit of a cliffhanger for now. And to be honest it seems one does not really know what he/ she has been missing or has got for that matter until it is gone. One thing is for sure though. In gory sickness and glorious health, the true emblem of the CUD remains in the heart as well as minds of millions. The spirit encapsulates the light and the darkness of Ethiopian politics. Those who want to usher the broad church movement in to oblivion; by the way we mean tgreas, should remember that CUD is the spirit itself. The only thing we doubt is if Senator McCarthy is back from his tomb with his underhanded tactics.

THE DOG WITH THE LEAST FLEAS

It looks a drama high on the altar of the panorama being held on everywhere and on everything. With out any limitation to the enumeration here the incidents run like this. CUD international fighting itself by itself. The Shabeya army helping peasants on a harvest by miraculously changing tanks in to combiners. A certain down to his luck jingle singer called Solomon somebody giving a public statement on his scouting visit. And finally Dadimos Haile toddling to tell us what he knows about Professor Mesfin which by implication we seem do not know. Great are all these showdowns that enjoy we must!

    Andargachew/ Mewa V. The Major

The jag-ass major opened his mouth and everybody made him closed it so tight for now. No one that we know asks if the major as chairman of the committee had the power to suspend members, if the grounds he alleges are right and correct and so forth. We presume no one likes the major and so whatever truth he may have does not matter as a result.

Mehedeya says: disagreement at work is healthy. Indeed if there is not one then we must suspect either there is nothing done as an activity or that lampoons are trying to lead wisemen. Could also be that lampoons are being lead by some other lampoons. Whichever way it goes we reserve our judgment for now. With the risk of committing a minor error let's say this now.

Andargachew needs to clam down and look both the right and the left road. Berhane is a sedate figure but should be more assertive in his path. T he Major should have a bit lesser testosterone. We will be back on it.

    Turning tanks in to Combiners

Great idea we suggest. But just mind yourself that you could be changed in to fertilizers while trying to harvest the " crop". Shabeya being a mad dog does not have an adequate memory of the past events.

    Solomon Tekelegnea

First it calls for balls to do what you have done. You should have our commendation on that. However, saying that you are not sure if there are EPPF army on the one hand and on the other claiming that you have not met all of them yet; is at most being economical on the truth. Clear it up or stick with your jingle-song where your good at.

    Dadimos Haile

You were the one as a judge on the tgrea bench who suspended the Bank account of the Ethiopian Human Rights Council. Now you telling us an eulogy about the professor? How did you became judge on the tgrea High Court alongside with Shemeles Kemale? Why did not you tell us about that instead before repeaing whatever we know about the professor?

Enjoy the week's drama, folks ! We prefer all the above scumbags only because they are dogs with the least fleas as compared to the tgreas !!

    ONE FOR THE ROAD

Sometimes America is a fun. A certain creature called Barnabas Miller from California had a letter requesting to be excused from jury service. It ran like this: " I have a short attention span. I have to go to the bathroom quite often. And I am a dog." Barnabas' owner was fined $ 250 for registering the poodle as a voter. He says he did it to protest against lax registration rules.

    LET THEM SQUABBLE

" Ethnic inequality and inequity in life is no more the case in Ethiopia." So said the tgrea government and we heard it so many times that we almost believed that it must be true. Well that is only until the May election came along and all the hot air filled tgrea ego inflated right at the bottom.

If one group in Ethiopia to be blamed as responsible for all our trouble, it is the tgreas; at least that is what everybody would truly say were the tgreas not in government right now. As a result they blame Andargachew Tsigea instead.

Andargachew brought this unto himself in a way. We have publicly warned anyone interested to listen ages ago about it . He should have come clean about himself bare and bold it rather than being coy at his past tgrea-connection. His time with the tgreas is a strength for the struggle and not a burden to the same. His a hand- size book on Amara nationality or something like that would not be a compilation of all his political writings, work or ideals either. If at all it is, it is only a page in an encyclopedia. In any event who said that an idea, program or thinking held at one juncture in time is a Bible for life. If any one genuinely believes in that our sheep at the backyard must be politically savvy than those who do!!

IS THAT ONLY US OR ARE WE ALL?

There are somethings we do not understand at all. We have not seen anyone plainly explaining what are the cons and pros of this new bill about to be on the floor of the US congress concerning Ethiopia.

It was said HR 5680 is :

"to encourage and facilitate the consolidation of security, human rights, democracy, and economic freedom in Ethiopia. It amounts to a condemnation of Ethiopia's current government and a series of punitive actions - everything from [prohibiting] security assistance to Ethiopia (with exceptions for peacekeeping or counter-terrorism assistance) and a ban on U.S. entry of any Ethiopian official involved in giving orders to use lethal force against peaceful demonstrators or accused of gross human rights violations, government security personnel involved in shootings of demonstrators, and Ethiopian civilians involved in killings of Ethiopian policemen".

Forget about the controversy for now and let's assume that this bill becomes law. What would happen thenafter?

So the tgrea thugs could not have get a visa to America but would have visa to New York? Is that it! The tgrea thugs would not get help for security assistance but would get security assistance in the name of terrorism though ! Are we living in Alice in wonderland or what ?

But one thing that boggels our mind is if this bill does not bite the tgrea thugs as a hungry and voracious lion on the back of a cow; why did the tgrea thugs splash their money for spin doctors and why is that aiga.com crying day in-day out.

We don't' get it! Can any one help, please!!!!!!!!

AL- AMOUDI IS TO BE PRESIDENT!

Some sources from Addis informed mehedeya that Al - amoudi the al-moron is groomed to be the president of the tgrea government up on the jumping before the push of the current president, Mr. Girma, who is also known as the polarbear. Well we guess the only problem for the rest of us is that we can not easily distinguish who is who of these two excessively obese persons.

Al-amoudi is a citizen of a foreign country. But legally that would not prevent him from being a ceremonial president according to Ethiopian law. Actually some world leaders are not even the citizens of the country the have led apart from having some connection to that country by birth, which in fact Al -amoudi the almoron has with Ethiopia.

Al-amoudi was seen recently on the tgrea thugs conference wearing a jacket with out the cape. We wonder what a world mogul would do in between a bunch of rif-rafs leaving aside his mega business behind him. Surely it is for the promise of being a ceremonial president appointment to which he would be prepared to kill anybody including all those present in that conference.

On the other hand Girma the polarbear can't walk on water any more particularly now he has lost the two Oromo generals to tell him where the stepping stones are. However compared to Al-amoudin the almoron; Girma has more substance in his little but fatty finger than almoron has in his entire obese body.

    THE BALILLAS

In the beginning they were not allowed even to wander around the streets of their own indigenous city. But once they succumbed to their Italian masters and admitted in their full hearts that they are inferior than their bosses, they were allowed to go school only and up until the fourth grade and to learn the supremacy of the Italian race alone. In no way were they allowed to wander around the city roads with out a permit though. The permit was needed to polish the shoe of the Italian soldiers and for the women for some sexual services. The Eritrians are proud of their history and have a colorful one too.
